Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi Calls for Wisdom and Moderation in Spreading the School of Thought of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them)
His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi (may his shadow be extended) received the researcher and scholar Sayyid Muhammad Ali Haidara from Senegal at his office in the holy city of Karbala.
His Eminence pointed to the historical role played by the blessed descendants of the Imams of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in spreading the school of thought of the Ahlulbayt in Africa from the early centuries of Islam until the present day, a role that has yielded blessed fruits.
Grand Ayatollah al-Modarresi emphasized the importance of focusing on spreading the school of thought at this time, as opportunities are available and there is a pressing need for the light of true Islam, which guides people from the darkness of misguidance to the light of guidance.
His Eminence also called for avoiding extremism and distancing oneself from extremists as much as possible, and for adopting the path of moderation, centrism, and tolerance in conveying the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), in order to avoid clashes among Muslims and achieve unity and cooperation that guarantees widespread peace, the utilization of resources, and the unleashing of society’s potential for the benefit of all.
