The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that hospitals in the Strip received five martyrs over the past 48 hours, including four newly reported martyrs and one martyr who was recovered, in addition to 15 injuries.
The ministry confirmed in its statistical report that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, amid the inability of ambulance and civil defense teams to reach them so far, due to field conditions and the complexity of movement in targeted areas where the occupation continues its operations.
According to official data, the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10 has reached 850, in addition to 2,433 injuries and 770 recovered bodies.
In the same context, the cumulative toll of what it described as genocide since the beginning of the offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,736 martyrs and 172,535 injuries.
The ministry indicated that 103 martyrs were added to the cumulative statistics after completing their data and officially approving them by the Martyrs’ Accreditation Committee since the beginning of May, as part of the ongoing update of figures based on field verification.
